Poor Monty has a sore foot.

Poor Monty got a seed stuck in his foot and it swelled up and went red.
We had to go the The Fitzroy Vet to put a poultice on it.
Here we are going back to check his poor toes. Poor Monty.

Are you two ready ?
"Yes Dad."
"Yes Dad."

Monty, how's your foot ?
"It's alright Dad."
"Dad, can we go for bacon after ?"
Yes Daisy. We'll have snacks at 'Loafer Bread' after the vet.

OK, we're there. Are you ready for the vet ?
"Dad, what if they poke my sore foot again ? It hurt last time."
I'll protect you Monty. Let's go see Simmone and Anu. They're nice.
"Dad, I'm scared. It hurt last time."

But Monty was a brave boy again and he didn't cry.
Monty's foot was a bit better and he got a new bandage. Poor Monty.

Poor Monty. He's a brave boy.

Snacks. We have run out of Snacks.

"Dadddddddd, we've run out of snacks. We're going up to see Kate at Zac's."
"Yeah Dad. Can you drive us ? It's raining."

You lazy lumps. Get in the car then.
Mont, that's my seat. And you have put your wet feet on my seat !

Daisy, you're a good girl.
"Yes Dad. See, I put my wet feet on the towel."

Good girl.
"Come on Dad. Jump in. Hurry up."

I will when Monty moves his bum.
"Ok Dad, we're all set. Let's go."

Big Wash Day for Monty and Daisy

We had a big wash day today. I washed every last thing I could find.
The dog beds went in the tub.

The dog blankets went in the washing machine.

Daisy was first in the tub. Here she is all clean and fluffy.

Who's my gorgeous girl ?!

Your turn Monty. Monty ? Where are you ?
There you are, hiding under my desk. Out you come.

Wash ?

"Dad, no Dad. Don't do it."

Smooches with Dad.

We often stop for hugs and smooches when we go for a walk.
"Dad, can I have a scratch ?"
Sure Monty. Let me just take this grass off your schnozz.

Come here and we'll rub noses.

Poor old Monty is a real softy. He loves a smooch.

"That's nice Dad. I'm just gonna lie down for a bit."

"Mmmm. That's nice. Scratch my head Dad."

Watch out here comes Daisy. She wants a smooch too.

Waiting for Dad by the front door.

I went out for dinner the other night with the boys from work. (Hello lads.)
We go this ripper little Indian Restaurant called Aahaar at 15 Johnston St, Fitzroy.

Poor Monty and Daisy don't like it when Dad goes out without them.
Poor Monty. He misses his Dad.

They are used to sitting under Dad's feet, being fed Snacks and Treats.
Poor Monty. He sat by the door all night.

Poor Daisy. "Where's my Dad gone without me."

Daisy went and had a sook on the couch.
"I'm waiting right here until my Dad comes home.

Poor Monty. Poor Daisy.
Dad will be home soon.

Monty and Daisy run into Jimmy

We often meet Jimmy down at The Edinburgh Gardens in Fitzroy.
Jimmy is another scruffy terrier. He's a lovely boy.

"Gidday Mont. Gidday Daisy."
"Hullo Jimmy. Alright then ?"

"Yeah, just checking stuff out, you know."

"See you then, Jimmy"
"Goodbye Daisy. See you later."

Come on you two. Let's go over this way.

Monty and Daisy and Tug of War.

We like playing Tug of War with a stick when we go down to The Park.

"Monty, Daisy, get the stick"

Daisy's a beast and usually wins.

Daisy won.
Now Monty wants the stick, and is dancing around growling and barking.
"Woo woo woo"

Daisy gets annoyed and drops the stick.
Now Monty wins. He has the stick.

30 seconds later we are all bored and go looking for new adventures.
