Daisy has gone on ahead while Monty stopped to check out a corner.
"Daisy, where are you?"

"I'm here, around the corner..."

"Find anything ?"
"Nah..."

"Hmmm, what's over here..."

"A noise ! What's that ?!"
"Cats ???"

"Nah, nothing."

Alleys. Part four.

This is part four of our adventure in The Alleys.
We couldn't find a cat to chase, so Daisy is going this way now.
"Come on you slowcoaches."

"You're slow!"
"No, you're slow"
"No, you're slow"

"I'm old. I just go slower."
"Sigh. Hurry up!"

"Oooh. This looks interesting. I'm going this way."
"Well I'm going THIS way..."

"Bye"
"See ya."

"Cool, there might even be mice here..."

Alleys. Part three.

This is the continuation of our journey through The Alleys.
Monty and Daisy are running around the corner looking for cats.

There they go. We often find a cat to chase here.

"Any cats Monty?"
"Nothing Dad."

"Come on Monty, let's go down here."

"What you found Daisy?"

"Nothing. Boring. Let's go down here instead."

"Hurry up Monty."

Alleys. Part one.

We had a big walk on Sunday.

We went to The Park, but we came home through The Alleys.

We love The Alleys. It's safer than the streets.
We can't get run over and Dad always worries about us being run over.

There are lots of interesting things to see and smell.

We can take our time and explore everything.

If we're lucky we might even find a cat to chase. Hooray.

Special Guest - Unknown hound guarding the gate.

We were out for walkies the other day.
We started off in The Park, but came home via the streets and alleys.

This little hound came racing to the gate to see who was on Her Turf.
"Who are you ?!"

"Grrrrrrr. Be off!"

"This is My Turf. Shoo. Grrrr."

"That's right. Off you go. Grrrrrrr!"

Good girl. You guard the gate.

Special Guest - Jessie Bella

This is Jessie.
She's also known as Jessie Bella because she is a beautiful girl.

She lives with Teresa and John and Max and Jack.
Here she is staring in through the window. "Can I come in?"

She loves to run around the yard and play on the trampoline.

That's her ball. She loves to play chasey with that ball.

"Catch me if you can! I'm ready..."

Waiting for bacon.

We love going out for walkies.
Today we have walked up to Queens Parade to A Clockwork Cafe.
We order toasted sammiches , and bacon for Monty and Daisy.
"Dad, did you order bacon for us Dad?"
"Yes Monty"
"Well, can we have some?"

"Yes Monty, but it's too hot. Just wait"

"Can we have bacon now, Dad ?"

"It's still too hot. Wait"
"Sigh, I'm hungry Dad."
"Maybe they have bacon over there."

"Monty, here, bacon... It's cool now."

Tired.

Poor Monty is old now. He gets tired easily.

It's been hot here, too. Too hot to do anything except sleep.

The wooden floor is cool and inviting.

"Just a little nap. Zzzzzzzzzz."

Whoops, that one's a bit out of focus. Poor tired Monty.

Special Guest - Bob

Bob is a bit of a long story.
Bob belongs to April who was going overseas for a year to study.
So, Josh decided to look after Bob.
Here's poor Bob peering through the fence at us.

Bob is full of energy and just wants to run.
Josh and I went out for a driving lesson and came home and couldn't find Bob. We eventually found him in the neighbor's yard.
Poor Bob had jumped over the side fence.

"I just want to come out and play. Please?!"

My sister Jen lives in Alice Springs in Central Australia.
Here she grows her own veggies and fruit and feral cats.
