Here's a little video of Daisy NOT playing.
Honestly, she's such a spoilsport.
She just stands there and tells everyone off for having fun, and she'll never join in the games.
Grumpy old thing.
That's all for today.

Wash ? Nooooooo. Part 2.
The kiddies were a bit stinky, so they've just had a wash at the Fitzroy Veterinary Clinic.
They're all clean now. Dad loves them when they're clean.

See ?! Lovely clean Monty.

"Me too Dad. I'm lovely and clean too."

Yes Daisy. Give us a smile for the readers then.
"Oh sure Dad. How about this then ?"

Charming. Gorgeous.
Ten minutes later we are walking back through The Park ...

And thus it starts again...

Wash ? Nooooooo
Sigh, it's never ending.
Doggies roll in stinky stuff, so doggies end up in the tub.
The hydro-bath at the Fitzroy Veterinary Clinic makes it so easy.
You two, in the tub !

"What us ?! There must be some mistake."

No mistake. In you go.

"Dad, you put soap in my eyes."
Poor stinky Daisy.

Alright. It's over. You can dry off now.

"It's over. Thank goodness."
To be continued...

Monty and Daisy and time to vacuum. Part 2
I am still cleaning the house, so the doggies have been kicked outside.
"Dad, have you finished yet ?"

Yes Daisy.
I have vacuumed. I have cleaned.
I have shaken your beds and put them out to air.
This house in now free of dog hair ... for now. Sigh.

Monty ?! What are you two doing ?

"Well Dad, you put our beds outside to air, so I found this bag.
It's my bed now."
Oops sorry, I'll fetch your beds in.

"Dad ! Our beds ? We're still waiting..."
Sorry Daisy. I'll go now. Sigh, I'm a slave to these dogs.

Doggies outside ! It's time to vacuum up all the dog hair.
That means you Daisy !

And you too Monty. Out !

Daisy, that's not out. Out ! Shoo !

"But Dad. We're INSIDE dogs, not outside dogs."

Daisy ! Out !

"But Daddddddddd..."
Out ! Or you will be doing the cleaning.

We do like to be beside the sea - video
Here's a little video I took of Daisy splashing around in the sea.
She's a bit of a scaredy-cat and doesn't like going in too deep.
That's all for today. See you tomorrow.

Special Guest - Vale Fletcher Christian.
I'm adding in an extra post today do celebrate the life, and the passing, of Fletcher Christian.
R.I.P. 20/04/2040
Fletcher lived with our old friend, Sue.
We received this email a few days ago.
Here he is with his blankie.

Here's a lovely pic of Fletcher enjoying the sun on his outside bed.

Poor Fletcher, staring out the window. Waiting ...

Lovely boy. He will be missed.
Our condolences and our love go out to Sue.
Sue, scroll down to the links at the bottom for the Lost Dogs Home.
Fletcher may have left, but there are so many more needing a home and some love.

We received this email a few days ago.
"To all of you who have known and loved our dear boy Fletcher, I'd just like to let you know that he didn't wake up this morning. Passed peacefully in his sleep, in his favorite bed (Chessie's). He will be greatly missed. A constant and faithful friend."

We do like to be beside the sea - part 6
This is the end of our little adventure to The Seaside.
We talk a stroll down the storm water outlet.

Don't fall in, you two. I'm not going in after you.

"No worries Dad. I'll be careful."

Right then, time to go home for stinky dogs.

Back to the car everyone.
You can have a sleep on the way home.

"No problemo Dad."

Do it again. Fetch the stick Monty.

"Here you go. One stick. Fetched."

Daisy is no so adventurous.
"I'm scared to go in too deep Dad."

That's OK Daisy, you just paddle then. We don't want you washed out to sea.

We do like to be beside the sea - part 3
When it's time to explore, then that's what we do.
Monty trots off up the beach.

"Come on Daisy, keep up."

"Monty ! Wait for meeeeee. "

It looks like they've found a friend.

"Ah, it's a glorious day Dad."
It sure is Monty.

It's such a nice day that I think that this adventure will have to continue.

Here's today's wild adventure.
Daisy chews a stick. Phew. Sit down and brace yourself.
"Hello everyone. This is my stick."

"There are many sticks like it, but this stick is mine."

"Nom nom nom."

"Crunch crunch crunch."

"Grrrr as well."

Thank you Daisy. Well, that was exciting.
