Dogs are for Life. Not just for Christmas

Now, we do love to make make fun of Monty and Daisy, and stick silly ears on them for Christmas ...

...but we do love them to bits and cherish them forever.

Georgia Little Pea reminds us, on this wonderful blog littledogsonlongleashes, that dogs are a member of the family, forever and always.

If you or the kiddies want a dog for Christmas, DON'T buy one from a breeder, rescue some poor mutt from the Lost Dogs Home.

Scroll down for the links to Lort Smith or Pet Rescue and save some poor hound for Christmas if you live in Melbourne, Australia.

Google search in your area and find your local pound or lost dogs home.
Just think of all the happiness you could bring.

Well said, Si.

The other sad thing, of course, are all the dogs that get dumped at shelters over the festive season because their families would like to go on holidays and don't want to spend money boarding them.

As you said...dogs are for life.

Happy Christmas to ALL your family, 2 and 4 legged! xox

P.S. Thanks for the link :)

P.P.S. Corn OMG! Were there offending bits? Never knew this. Shall remember. NO corn!
