Not so old and blind as that.

"What are you doing, Dad ?"

Hello Monty. I'm cooking my dinner.
"Oh. Oh, yes. Cooking your dinner. What exactly are you cooking Dad ?"

Oh, you know. Just veggies.
"Just veggies ? Dad, I may be old and blind and deaf and walk into walls, but I smell sausages !"

Oh, you mean these sausages ?
"Yes Dad. And I will of course need to taste them to make sure that they're OK."

Little Sheep and Plague Victim.

Monty and Daisy have just had their first Summer haircut.

Poor Daisy always looks like a plague victim.
"Dad, that's not very nice. I think I look gorgeous."
Hmmm.

But Monty always looks handsome, like a freshly shaved sheep.
"Thank you Dad. I feel nice and cool too."

"Make sure you capture my good side."
Yes Monty.

I'm sorry Daisy but you DO look like a plague victim, with all that silly fluff on your head and your shaved body. *snort snigger*

"Dad ! Don't be mean."

Down by the sea. The Sphinx. Port Melbourne Beach

We're down by the sea on a lovely afternoon.
Monty ! Come here and we'll make a sandcastle.
Now hold still Monty.
"Ok Dad. Uh, this wasn't what I had in mind when you said we make a sandcastle."
Just relax and look decorative. A little more sand and we're done.
"Yes Dad. I'm comfy now so I might take a nap."
"Hello Monty. You look like The Sphinx."
"Do I really. Cool."
*pee pee*
"Daisy ! Did you just wee on me ?"
"Maybe."

Brush time.

Come here, Daisy. You're filthy and snotty and need a good brush down.
"Yes Dad. Make me beautiful again."
Sure thing. Let's get all those dags out of your fur. How's that ?
"Lovely thanks Dad."
Feeling better now ? You sure look less snotty.
"Much better thanks Dad."
