Off to Eltham to visit my parents - part two, kangaroos.

We're at my parents house in Eltham to help Dad with his computer. The kiddies are having a great time running around.

"Follow me Daisy, I smell kangaroos."

"They're around here somewhere..."

"This way ! Quick !"

"I'm coming..wait for me."

There they are. Alright you two, no chasing kangaroos. Back inside the house !

Off to Eltham to visit my parents - part one.

Come on kiddies, jump in the car.
"Where are we off to Dad ?"

Off to Eltham to visit my parents. I have to check Dad's computer.
"Yay, that means space to run and things to sniff."

"So much space to run and so much to chase and so much to sniff..."

"Over here Darcy, I smell kangaroos!"

"Me too, I smell it too!"

"Maybe over here..."

"No, over here..."

Our new bed is very nice.

We went to Ikea today for a few things - a table, a few hooks and a new bed for the dogs.
Mr Darcy has helped me build our new table, then had a smack for tearing Daisy's new bed to pieces.

"We're tired now Dad. It's been a big day."
Poor kiddies, you have a nap.

"Our new bed is very nice Dad, thank you."
You're welcome Daisy-Mae.

"...and I promise not to tear any more bits off it, Dad."
Yes... I should hope so too Mr Darcy !

So much for that new bed ...

We've just been to Ikea and found a nice new lambs wool bed for Daisy.

"Um... Dad..."
Yes Daisy ?

"Dad... look at what Darcy is doing to my new bed..."

Oh no ! Mr Darcy, did you pull all this wool out ?!
"Ah... maybe..."

You're a naughty boy. I only just bought that. It's all very well to tear up your own toys, but not Daisy's new bed.
"Whoops, sorry about that."
Naughty boy! Don't do it again!

New bed from Ikea in Richmond

We've just been to Ikea in Richmond to buy a new computer table... and a lambs wool bed for Daisy.

What do you think, Daisy ?
"For me, Dad ? Wow. It's very nice."

"Mmmm, it feels so nice under my toes."

You have a little nap then, Daisy. Darcy and I have to put this table together.

Ready Mr Darcy ?
"Yes, ready Dad. I'll supervise."

Very good. Now where does this piece go ...
"Over there, Dad. It's a good thing I'm here to watch over you."

Under the table... waiting...

We're at my parent's house to to help my Dad with his computer and to have dinner with the family.

"Pssst, Dad ! Down here."
Hello you two.

"Dad, what are you eating up there ? It smells so good!"
Mmmm, it's Kashmiri Lamb. My mum makes it and it's very nice. Would you like a taste ? Here yo go...

"Psst, Dad. Down here. Can we have some more please ?"
Yes of course you can, as long as my mother doesn't catch me.

Rustica Sourdough Cafe for my morning coffee

I'm on afternoon shift again, so I grab the kiddies and have them take me out for a coffee. It's always a good excuse.

We've stopped at Rustica Sourdough Cafe on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy.
You two wait there while I order.

They're such good kiddies. I'll order the roast chicken and salad sandwich and they can have most of my roast chicken.

"We heard that Dad. We get all your chicken."
Some... I said some, not all.
