Come outside and play.

You two, stop jumping on the couch and come outside and play.
"Who us? But we're inside dogs, Dad."

Well come outside and play. There's all sorts of fun things like dust and mud and beetles and fresh air and stuff.
"Sounds awful Dad. We'll take our chances inside thanks."

Enjoying the sun.

We're just finishing off our renovation. The poor kiddies have been shut inside for a fair bit of it.

Are you two enjoying the sun out there ?
"Yes Dad. There's lots of dust and debris to roll in."

Oh jolly good. That must mean it's bath day soon !
"Not funny Dad. Don't joke."

Rolled in something nasty.... again...

Daisy is off to The Vet tomorrow to have her teeth cleaned.

As if to make life really difficult for me, she rolled in something really nasty on the way home. Ick, I couldn't even touch her without gagging.

So.... off to The Vet one day earlier to use their hydro tub.

Poor bucket head

Poor bucket head. Mr Darcy has been chewing on his front left foot. I'm not sure if it's nervous habit or a skin irritation.

Either way, it's off to The Vet for a prescription of antibiotics and cortisone cream, and a bucket for his head.

"Take it off, Dad. It's not fun. The joke is over."
Sorry kiddo, but your foot is covered in cortisone cream and you'll just lick it off.

Time for sleep, kiddies.
"How, Dad ? With this thing on my head ?"

Poor boy. Just for a day or two.

Wet feet

We are finishing off our home renovation.

Are you coming out to take a look Mr Darcy ?
"But it's been raining, Dad. I might get wet feet."

You big sook. Come out and check out the new courtyard.
"I don't know, Dad. It looks very muddy out there."

Looking for lights

We have taken a walk to the Abbotsford Convent for a coffee and cake and to look for lights at the potter, Porcelume.

You stay there, kiddies. We won't be long.

"Dad, I'm hungry. See if there's a treat in there for me."
Um, I don't think so Mr Darcy.
"You never know until you look, Dad. And I didn't see much of your bacon at breakfast either, just to let you know."
Ah, well it was only a small serve, you see...

Nice lights, though...
