Walk or Wash ?

"Hello Dad. I'm bored. Can we go for a walk ?"

Hello Monty, my beautiful boy.
Well, we could walk to The Vet and have a wash in the Hydrobath...

"Noooooooo. Not a wash !"

Monty ! Look at your foot. What have you done ?
Do you have another grass seed in your foot ?!
You have. Poor Monty. We are definitely going to The Vet then.

"To the vet ? Maybe. I will think about it."

Dinner at The Pub.

We all took an afternoon stroll, then stopped at The Pub for dinner.
Monty sits patiently, waiting for his share.

"I am gonna get some of that, aren't I ?!"
Yes Monty, just wait.

Daisy is waiting patiently too.

"Me too Dad. Don't forget me."

Yes Daisy, I will give you a taste. It's Thai Chicken Burger and it's lovely !

A sunny day is wash day.

We had a lovely sunny day, and Monty and Daisy were getting a bit stinky, so it's off across the park to The Vet for a wash.
Here they are in the tub. It's so easy this way. Better than the sink at home.

Then we stroll home and dry off.

Clean Monty. Clean Daisy.
Dad loves them a lot more when they are clean.

But they will roll in everything they find on the way home and soon they will be stinky again.

We are still preparing for our walk.

This is how we always start off out walks.
I am slowly finding all the things we need.
Shoes and leads and poop bags.
"Come on Dad, it's a beautiful day."

Ok you two, I'm going as fast as I can.

Then I always stop to admire Monty. He's such a handsome boy.

"Come on Dad. Hurry up."

"Sigh, I have time for a sleep while you get ready."

'Walkies' is our daily exercise and relaxation.
This is how it always starts.

Righto, you two. Let me find my shoes and your leads.

Then Monty and Daisy race up and down the corridor.
"Come on Daddddddddd. Hurry up. "

Then they sigh and stretch while they wait for me to get ready.

Off we go to Clockwork Cafe for snacks for Dad and bacon for the kiddies.
