Pussy cat.

"Grrrrrrr. Woowoowoo".
Mr Darcy! Leave that poor cat alone.

"But Dad......"
I am not taking you to the vet to bandage up your shredded nose!  Again!
"Grrrrrr. Woof."

Pussy cat behind the glass.

We're out on our daily walk and suddenly Darcy lunges at a doorway.
I wonder why until I see this cat behind the glass. Look carefully and you will see it behind the dirty glass.

They play for a bit, with the cat boxing at Darcy from behind the safety of the glass.

Hissssss !

*Hisssssss*
What's that you've found, kiddies ?
''It's a cat ! It's a cat !''

Well, leave it alone.
''Ow ! Dad, it scratched my nose !''
Yeah, funny that.

''Ow, it scratched my nose too !''
Sigh, you two never learn. The cat always wins.

*Hisss* *swipe scratch*

''Ow ! It scratched me again !''
Sigh, never learn.....

Daisy and the kittens.

Last time I took Monty to the vet for a needle we saw these poor kittens up for adoption.
Daisy was not amused and wouldn't stop growling at the poor kitties.

I should have adopted them and taken them home.
Little sharp claws and little sharp teeth would teach Daisy a lesson !

Monty and Daisy and the cat on the fence

Monty and Daisy and I are walking down our usual alley.

Hello puss.

"Harumph. Hello yourself."

"Take those pesky dogs away please.
Mind you, they're barking up the wrong tree."

Yes I know. They're not real bright sometimes.

Goodbye puss.
"Harumph. Good riddance."

Monty and Daisy and the cat on the high fence.

Another day, another walk, another adventure.

This time it's a cat on a high fence.

"Dad ! Dad ! It's a cat ! It's a cat."

Yes, I can see that. Leave the poor thing alone.
"Bark bark bark !"

Mind you, the cat seems to be ignoring you two.
"Bark bark bark."

Sigh, come on you two, leave it alone.
"Bark bark bark."

Leave it alone now or you get a tweak !

Special Guest - Barney. One tough cat.

We where walking down McKean Street, when we ran into Barney.
Hello Barney.
"Hello. Lovely day."

"I see you have those pesky hounds with you. Hmmph."

Daisy has just noticed Barney.

Barney is not even vaguely worried. Barney is one tough cat.

Monty walks straight past.
He doesn't like Barney, since Barney shredded his ear a while back.

You OK there,, Barney ?
"Fine thanks. Now take those hounds away !"

Not worried about them, are you Barney ?
"As if."

"If you don't watch out, I will eat them for lunch. Now shoo !"

OK. See ya later Barney.

Monty and the grass seed again ! Part three.

We went back down to the Fitzroy Vet to see Jess and to have Monty's bandage changed.
There's Jess. Thanks for looking after Monty.

Jess said his eye looked good and was healing nicely.

She replaced his bandage.

But Monty and Daisy were more interested in the kittens.

"How do I get in there ?"

"Hey Daisy, can you see a way in ?!"

Sigh, come on you two, leave the kittens alone.

Special Guest - Boof, Olive and Soxy

My sister Jen lives in Alice Springs in Central Australia.
Here she grows her own veggies and fruit and feral cats.
Here's Boof, looking handsome and distinguished.

Here's Boof after rolling in the dust and leaves.

This is Olive, also looking very elegant.

And this is Soxy, watching the world go by.

Thanks Sis. I hope you and the cats are well.
It's always nice to have guests on the show.

Special Guest: A cat called Purpawi

Here is Stuart's little treasure. Purpawi.

She came from the North Melbourne Lost Dogs' Home ten years ago.

Her name comes from an Aboriginal word meaning calm.

In the summer she likes to sun herself on the back decking.

At The Vet. Kittens

Monty is old and needs an arthritis jab every month.
A shot of Pentosan keeps him up and running.
Here we are at the Fitzroy Vet.

Poor Daisy is tied up while Monty goes for his needle.

"I'll just wait here"

Monty is far more interested in the kittens waiting for adoption.

"Now how do I get in there ?"

Poor Daisy, Poor Monty

Poor Daisy has a spot growing on her face, so she went in for surgery this morning.
She had to fast last night so no dinner. The poor thing almost collapsed from hunger.

Monty and I walked back home, and ran into this cat on the way.

This cat was totally unafraid of Monty, and proceeded to chase him down the street.

Every time Monty turned back to chase the cat, it coming running back after him to take a swipe at his nose.

Poor Monty. Watch out for that cat. It's coming backkkkk.

Now we are home, he is having a sook. I think the cat hurt his pride. Poor Monty.

Guest appearance by feral cat from Alice Springs

Hello again.
We have another guest appearance to Monty and Daisy's site.

Now here's something you won't see every day.
Today we present a feral cat, all the way from Alice Springs, in the centre of Australia.

Here's Soxy.

Soxxy lives with my sister Jen, who lives with various other feral cats.

Oddly enough, she looks remarkably similar to Daisy - pictured here, all nice and fluffy after a bath.

Honestly, the excitement never stops.
