We have taken a walk to the Abbotsford Convent for a coffee and cake and to look for lights at the potter, Porcelume.
You stay there, kiddies. We won't be long.
"Dad, I'm hungry. See if there's a treat in there for me."
Um, I don't think so Mr Darcy.
"You never know until you look, Dad. And I didn't see much of your bacon at breakfast either, just to let you know."
Ah, well it was only a small serve, you see...
Come in kiddies, we have things to do.
"Sure thing, Dad. Let's go."
"Where are we going anyway, Dad?"
Does it matter ? Non-specific errands, things, stuff, bread, nails... that sort of thing.
"Oh, OK. Well let's go then. No time to waste."
We're renovating, and at the moment we are plastering and sanding.
Daisy and Darcy are covered in plaster dust and sawdust and concrete dust and other things too terrible to mention. So, in the tub with you two !
The hydro-bath at the Fitzroy Veterinary Clinic is such a wonderful thing.
"Dad, for once I agree with you. It's all a bit much."
Too right Mr Darcy.
We are deep into our renovations.
We've been living in one room downstairs. Now it's time to go back up so that we can pull up the old floor boards.
OK kiddies. You're about the last thing. Upstairs with you and your beds.
"Yes Dad."
"OK Dad. I hope we'll have a bit more room. It was a bit of a squish down here.
