We are out on a walk in The Park, which has deteriorated into a "scratch Monty" session.

Honestly Monty, we are meant to be exercising !
"Shhh ! And scratch my belly !"

Just don't go to sleep down there.

"Not asleep... and don't stop."

Monty, you are a lazy lump !

"That may be, but I'm old and I'm allowed to be. Now keep scratching."

Monty and Daisy and I are out for a slow stroll.
As usual, Monty wants to stop for a sit and a scratch.

"Scratch my head Dad."
Yes Monty.

"Lower ! Lower !"

"Yup, there's very nice."

I'll scratch your tail too.

"Thanks Dad. You're the best, Dad."

Here we are in Edinburgh Gardens once again.
Poor Monty is old and likes a slow stroll.
We often stop and just sit and watch the world go by... take the air... relax.

We are almost at the creek, so off with the leads or they will be covered in mud and creek water.

Grass Hill. Part one.

Are you ready for another big adventure, dear reader ?
Well here we go then. This is Grass Hill. This is right next to the Rushall Crescent Community Garden in  Fitzroy North.

Grass Hill is a little park close to home.
It's a nice place to walk for a change.

Monty, the mighty hunter goes looking for lizards.

This is the bench seat on top of the hill.

... looks like the doggies have disappeared over the horizon.
Ah well. I will sit on that bench and wait for them to explore.
