Here's a video of me stirring up Monty. This is a common game.
It usually starts when Daisy has a bone, and Monty wants it, even though he has his own bone.
In this case, Daisy found a bone when we where out on a walk.
So it starts ... "Monty, get the bone, Monty, Monty, get the bone !"
And Monty knows that if he tries, Daisy will attack him !

Hi, I hope this works. This is my first attempt at uploading a video to the site.
You should see a video of Daisy ready for a walk.

Young Monty on his blanket.
Here are a few more pictures of young Monty on his blanket.
This was before we started buying expensive beds for them, with padding, and nice linings, and fluffy stuff, etc etc.

It's funny to see these old pictures, now that he is so old.

My wife doctored this photo and stuck it on the desktop of the computer.

The caption is quite right too. Monty loves his Dad.

Monty in his classic pose.
Here is an old pic' of Monty in his classic over the shoulder pose.
Phil and I were sitting out in the little park having a beer.
Monty came out to enjoy the sun.

Lovely boy

Monty and his muddy nose.
I gave Monty a new bone. Obviously he wasn't hungry. He went and buried it.

Hang on, where did you just bury that ?
Hopefully not under that new plant that I just watered in ????
You did too, you sod.
Laura, you hold him up while I take a few more pictures.

Let me take a close-up. Hold still.

Now to give you a smack for digging up my new plant.
Then to wash your schnozz. Sigh.

Monty and his sad pose.
Here's a few pictures taken on my first cheap USB plug in camera.
Hello Monty.
"Hello Dad."

Give me your very best pose Monty.
"How about this one Dad ?"

Very nice. Now look sad for me. You do it so well.
"OK, coming up... wait... wait... OK, here we go. Very sad."

Haha. Clever Monty. Good boy.

Young Monty with red ball.
Here's some more pictures I found of a young Monty.
Thanks to Anton for the photos.

He's such an old man now, it's hard to believe he was ever this young.

Lovely boy.

Having fun.

Monty, get the ball.

He's a lot older and a lot fatter now.
Cheerio for now.

Young Monty on his bed
Here are a few pictures of young Monty, sitting on his bed.

Handsome boy.

Here we go with the 'wistful' pose.

Mind you, they tore that bed to pieces. Sigh.

Poor Jose has terrible teeth.
Dear readers. If you have a weak stomach, you may want to bypass this post.
Poor old Jose has very bad teeth and very bad breath. Very bad. Extremely bad.

He likes attention like all of us.
I was sitting watching the TV and playing with him, and this time I couldn't help taking a few pictures. Grrr. Show me your teeth Jose.

Those with weak stomachs may want to tune out now.

Getting closer...

Theme music from 'Jaws' right about now...

Poor old boy. He needs a trip to the Dog Dentist.

Handsome Jose on the Gold Coast.
Here's a few pics of handsome Jose from my last visit to the Gold Coast.
He loves with my Father-in-Law in Queensland.
.jpg)
Jose is a good boy and always comes out to greet me at the door.
.jpg)
Poor old Jose was rescued from the Lost Dogs Home.
He is a lovely boy and loves a bit of attention.
He will sit on me and have a scratch while I watch television.

Here are a few typical poses.

Handsome boy, but terrible teeth and terrible breath. Ick.

Just wait until you see his teeth in the next post ! You've been warned.

Monty enjoys the sun.
I quite often leave the front door open so that Monty can sit outside.
He loves the afternoon sun.

Handsome Monty. Is that nice in the sun ?
"Yes thanks Dad."

That's all for now.

Another hot day down at The Merri Creek 3.
It's a very hot day and we are enjoying the cool air down by The Merri Creek.

Daisy loves chasing the ducks.

It's funny how the ducks don't seem to care.

Monty joins in too.

Come on out you two. Leave the ducks alone.

"Ok Dad, we are coming out now."
Shake shake shake.
That's all for this adventure.

Another hot day down at The Merri Creek 2.
Right then. Monty and Daisy have come back from crossing the bridge.
We are now down in the creek and it is a very hot day. Must be 35 degrees.

Monty is straight in for a swim.

He looks very happy as he splashes around.

Daisy joins him for a paddle.

Then they head off to check things out.
To be continued...

Another hot day down at The Merri Creek 1.
It's another hot day so we all race up to The Merri Creek.
Monty and Daisy know the way. Off they run.

There they go disappearing into the distance.

Oy, wrong way.

Monty ! Daisy ! Come back here. We are going to The Creek, not to the cafes.

There's the creek down below. They should have turned right, not left across the bridge.

Monty and the grass seed again ! Part four.
This is the last little part of Monty's story about the grass seed in his foot.
We have just been to the Fitzroy Vet to have his bandage change.
Thanks to Jess and all the girls down there.

Now we are at Dexter Cafe for a coffee and a BLT.
Lovely Monty is enjoying the sun.

The nice men at Dexter give me a little plate of bacon for Monty and Daisy.

Do you want some bacon Daisy ?
"Yes please Dad."

That's all for now until the next adventure. Cheerio.

Monty and the grass seed again ! Part three.
We went back down to the Fitzroy Vet to see Jess and to have Monty's bandage changed.
There's Jess. Thanks for looking after Monty.

Jess said his eye looked good and was healing nicely.

She replaced his bandage.

But Monty and Daisy were more interested in the kittens.

"How do I get in there ?"

"Hey Daisy, can you see a way in ?!"

Sigh, come on you two, leave the kittens alone.
