Lucky Jose

Laura has gone to visit her parents.

Jose is her Dad's dog, but he's a very sociable boy and will make friends with anybody.
Lucky Jose always gets to sleep on the bed next to Laura.

Lovely boy.

Laura has gone to visit her parents.

Here's little Missy. That's her mum's dog.
She's a funny little thing, rescued from the Lost Dog's Home, and she always nips at my ankles.

Poor Jose has terrible teeth.

Dear readers. If you have a weak stomach, you may want to bypass this post.
Poor old Jose has very bad teeth and very bad breath. Very bad. Extremely bad.

He likes attention like all of us.
I was sitting watching the TV and playing with him, and this time I couldn't help taking a few pictures. Grrr. Show me your teeth Jose.

Those with weak stomachs may want to tune out now.

Getting closer...

Theme music from 'Jaws' right about now...

Poor old boy. He needs a trip to the Dog Dentist.

Handsome Jose on the Gold Coast.

Here's a few pics of handsome Jose from my last visit to the Gold Coast.
He loves with my Father-in-Law in Queensland.

Jose is a good boy and always comes out to greet me at the door.

Poor old Jose was rescued from the Lost Dogs Home.
He is a lovely boy and loves a bit of attention.
He will sit on me and have a scratch while I watch television.

Here are a few typical poses.

Handsome boy, but terrible teeth and terrible breath. Ick.

Just wait until you see his teeth in the next post ! You've been warned.

Special Guest - Missy once again.

I found these pictures of Missy from my last visit to the parents-in-law.
Missy lives with Mama and Papa up on the Goldcoast.

She is part Chihuahua and part fruit bat I think. She's a funny looking thing.
Poor Missy was rescues from the Lost Dogs Home.
Here she is watching while I unpack my clothes.

Here she is checking out a biscuit.

Go on, eat it Missy. It's ok.

"No rush."

Funny thing. Poor Missy.
Bye for now.

More Goldcoast dogs. Zoe, Digby and Lulu.

Here are some more Goldcoast dogs.

Digby and Lulu and Zoe live in the Tugun Internet cafe.
I would go there to check my emails, then go to the beach.

Here's Digby and Lulu, minding the car out the back.

They are the best of friends.

Here's Zoe, minding the shop.

Zoe is very friendly, and walks around and greets everybody.

Three Hounds

Here are a few old photos of Monty and Daisy and Jose.

That's Daisy at the front, Monty at the back, Jose to the right.

Jose if my father in law's dog.

Jose came to visit and brought Papa with him.

It was VERY noisy on our house.
Three hounds running around all day and all night.

Three hounds, three times the love, three times the noise.

Almost forgot the father-in-law.

Hello again. Welcome back.
After the lovely guest appearance by Jose, I thought that I had better show Jose again with his dad, my Father-in-law.
As you can see, Papa is almost as handsome as little Jose.

They are a fine team.

We also recently rescued little Missy from the North Melbourne Lost Dogs Home.
We didn't know what to do with this poor little sausage, so we gave her to my Mother-in-law.

Here's Missy...

We think she is part Chihuahua and part fruit bat.

Will you look at that schnozz.

Until we meet again.

Special Guest Appearance by Jose

Today we have a guest appearance from Jose.

This handsome fella' lives in Queensland, Australia.
He was rescued from the Lost Dogs Home at Tweed Heads and now lives a happy life with my father-in-law in Tugun.

Check out the eyes.
Poor Jose is half Chihuahua and half Fox Terrier, and has one eye of each.
When we rescued him, the poor fella' had a big scar down his back.
The running joke was that he was bits of two separate dogs, grafted together.

It turns out that the scar, about 1cm wide and 7 or 8cm long, was probably caused by shampoo for humans. Shampoo poured down his back at every wash, scarred his skin. Poor chicken.

One day soon we also hope to have a guest appearance from a few feral cats from Alice Springs.

The excitement is too much. Do stand by for more.
