Holly

I think we had better squeeze in another post for this evening.
Friends are back from traveling around Australia, so I dropped in to visit.

Holly greeted me at the door, barking her head off, bless her.

Isn't she just gorgeous. She's just been washed and trimmed.

Fish and chips for dinner

Monty and Daisy and I are buying our fish and chips.

"Gee Dad, I'd love a piece of fish."

Here we are settling down for our fish and chips in Mayors Park in Clifton Hill.

Monty and Daisy will have a piece of fish each, thank you.

Almost forgot the father-in-law.

Hello again. Welcome back.
After the lovely guest appearance by Jose, I thought that I had better show Jose again with his dad, my Father-in-law.
As you can see, Papa is almost as handsome as little Jose.

They are a fine team.

We also recently rescued little Missy from the North Melbourne Lost Dogs Home.
We didn't know what to do with this poor little sausage, so we gave her to my Mother-in-law.

Here's Missy...

We think she is part Chihuahua and part fruit bat.

Will you look at that schnozz.

Until we meet again.

Guest appearance by feral cat from Alice Springs

Hello again.
We have another guest appearance to Monty and Daisy's site.

Now here's something you won't see every day.
Today we present a feral cat, all the way from Alice Springs, in the centre of Australia.

Here's Soxy.

Soxxy lives with my sister Jen, who lives with various other feral cats.

Oddly enough, she looks remarkably similar to Daisy - pictured here, all nice and fluffy after a bath.

Honestly, the excitement never stops.

A couple of old favorites

Here are two more pictures for today.

Here's Monty, caught digging up the garden.
The naughty boy was trying to bury a bone where I had just planted something

Here's a very old shot of Daisy Mae, taken with an old web cam device.
I love this shot of her, peering up at the camera.
We spend a lot of time gazing into each others eyes.

Special Guest Appearance by Jose

Today we have a guest appearance from Jose.

This handsome fella' lives in Queensland, Australia.
He was rescued from the Lost Dogs Home at Tweed Heads and now lives a happy life with my father-in-law in Tugun.

Check out the eyes.
Poor Jose is half Chihuahua and half Fox Terrier, and has one eye of each.
When we rescued him, the poor fella' had a big scar down his back.
The running joke was that he was bits of two separate dogs, grafted together.

It turns out that the scar, about 1cm wide and 7 or 8cm long, was probably caused by shampoo for humans. Shampoo poured down his back at every wash, scarred his skin. Poor chicken.

One day soon we also hope to have a guest appearance from a few feral cats from Alice Springs.

The excitement is too much. Do stand by for more.

Wistful looks make me melt

Hello again. Here is the next installment.

Here are Monty and Daisy peering through a hole in a fence.

This is up near our Fish and Chip shop.

Here are a few of Mont and Daisy looking wistful. Don't you just melt.
