Checking things out

We do a lot of checking things out when we are at the park.
Monty scans the horizon.

Greeting friends...

Catching up on the news...

"Hello you."
"Hello to you too."

Car

Everywhere I go, Monty and Daisy usually go to. They're such good kiddies.

If Monty wants to go for a drive to the pub, I will go with him.

If Daisy wants to drive up to the shops for fish and chips, I will take her.

Sometimes they have to wait for me, but they are patient.
They know I will always be back.

Puddles

My two terriers love the water (but hate a bath).
If we go out after the rain, they will wade through every puddle they can find.

Here is Monty splashing about.

"Hey Dad, I'm just cooling my toes"

If we head down to the Merri Creek, they'll be straight into the water.
Here is Monty exploring. The Mighty Hunter.

Soon Daisy comes to join him. Everywhere Monty goes, Daisy follows.

If the ducks or geese are about, it's even better.
Monty and Daisy will run up and own, barking themselves silly.
But the ducks pay them no attention. They have seen it all before.

Once more it is time to head home for a W.A.S.H.
I'm not having stinky dogs in the house, and believe me, they smell after being down at the creek.

Special Guests - Ralph and Bob

I thought I might squeeze in another post tonight for two more guest appearances.

First up is another visit by Ralph.
Ralph lives with Danut in Romania, and Danut has kindly sent me another picture for my website.
I have to say that Ralph looks very smart in that coat. Very handsome indeed.

Next may I present Bob. Bob lives with April and is here by special invitation.
It's not just any old dog that appears on this website you know. Just the select few.
Who knows, their appearance here my be their path to fame and fortune.

Good night for now.

Loving looks.

This is how I usually picture my little girl. Peering up at her dad with loving eyes.

I never tire of gazing into those little brown sultana eyes.

Sometimes we gaze into the mirror and admire ourselves, although neither of us is really much to look at.

I have often wondered why she always squints in that left eye - now I see why.

Watching the world go by. Special Guest Falcao.

Here we are down at the park again, running into old friends.
That's Falcao and Monty.

There's Daisy and Falcao watching the world go by, and it goes by from right to left.

Quick, there it goes...

Down at the Merri creek

We took a walk down to the Merri Creek.

This is a pleasant and cool spot.

We can chill out, chase the ducks, sniff everything, and run around.
Monty likes to just sit in the creek and enjoy the cool water on his toes.

Off course, wherever Monty goes, Daisy has to follow.

Then it is back home and into the tub for a W.A.S.H., because they always come out stinking.
