Hot Dinner for Monty and Daisy part three.

Monty has finished his Hot Dinner now. Rice all over the floor.

So has Daisy.

"You got any left ?"

"Shoo. Go away."
"But I've finished mine and I'm still hungry..."
"You're just a pig. Shoo."

"But I'm still hungry !"
"You're always hungry."
Of course it's not long before they are checking each others bowl for more.
Daisy is now at Monty's bowl.

... and Monty is at Daisy's bowl.

"Sigh, nothing left."
"Maybe Dad will give us a Snack later."

Hot Dinner for Monty and Daisy part two.

Here we go continuing with Hot Dinner in My Bowl.
I have just made Monty's dinner, and he always spins around in excitement.
"Hooray. Hot Dinner"

"Mmmm. Nom nom nom."

Daisy is usually fussy and never rushes to eat, but not tonight.
"Nom nom nom."

Monty is really licking out the bowl now, chasing every last piece of rice.

"Mmm. Not bad Dad."

"Yeah, not bad Dad."

Hot Dinner for Monty and Daisy part one.

"Dad, I'm hungry."

"Me too, I'm hungry too."

"It's time for Hot Dinner in My Bowl"
"Yeah Dad, Hot Dinner for me too Dad."
Ok you two. It's heating up.

I grate a carrot, crack an egg and stir in a spoon of fresh mince beef or chicken.
Cook it in the microwave for 2 or 3 minutes.
Maybe a little sprinkle of salt or grated cheese. Just a little, mind.

Some for Monty. Some for Daisy.

Monty and Daisy visit Kate at Zacs

Whenever we go up to Queens Parade we visit Kate.

Kate works at Zacs Pet Supplies where we go for our Snacks.
"Hurry up Dad."

"Hello Kate." "Hello Kate."

"Hello Monty. Hello Daisy"

"Where's your Dad ?" "Oh, out there somewhere."

"Who wants a liver treat ?"
"Me !" "Me too!"

"Thanks Kate." "Yeah thanks Kate. We like you."
Ok you two, let's go. I have bought Snacks for the week.
"See you later Kate." "Yeah, see you later Kate. Thanks for the Treats"

"Dad, I'm thirsty now".

So Monty takes a drink from the busker's bowl where he keeps his coins.
That's OK laughs the busker. I put water there for the dogs.

Breakfast at Cafe Q

This morning we walked up to Cafe Q for our lazy breakfast.

You two sit there while I order.

Cafe Q is where we go for toasted sandwiches and bacon.
"Did someone say bacon ?"

"Bacon ? Me too. I want some bacon too !"

"Grumble grumble. There had better be bacon"

Yes Monty. I will order bacon for you. Don't worry.
"Grumble, grumble ... better get some bacon... grumble grumble."

Sleeping in on Saturday.

I love Saturday mornings. I can sleep late.
That is until I hear the "tik tik tik" of little feet coming up the stairs.

"Wake up Dad."

"Yeah, wake up Dad."

"Can we go walkies?! We want bacon."

"Groan, ok. Every body downstairs and in the car. Let's go."

"Hooray. Let's go get some bacon."
