''Me too, Dad. I'm a mighty hunter too.
Daisy of The Serengeti, they call me.''
Yes of course you are, Daisy.

Monty. Mighty hunter. Rushall Crescent Gardens
We are up on Grass Hill, a little park planted with native grasses - it's called the Rushall Crescent Gardens.
Monty and Daisy like this spot. They hunt for lizards and other big game.
It keeps them amused for hours.
Then I spend hours picking the grass seeds out of them. Sigh.

Zacs is closed !
The horror. We arrive at Zacs to buy some snacks, but Zacs is closed.

Monty is having great difficulty coming to terms with this. He's headbutting the door.
Meanwhile Daisy is looking for the water bowl that is always outside.
"Daddddddd, I'm thirsty."

Monty is still staring in through the door, hoping against all hope that someone will open it and let him and give him a liver treat.
Meanwhile Daisy stares up and down the street looking for Kate or Brit.

Sorry kiddies. Looks like no snacks for you today.
You'll have to have dry biscuits at home.
"Dad, that's not funny ! Where is everybody ?! Why won't they let us in ???"

Monty and Jinx next door.
This beautiful boy is Jinx who lives next door.

Monty and Jinx like to fight through the fence.

They howl and cry and carry on.

Are you two finished yet ? What a noise !

Daisy and Gus
This is poor, little Gus.
He came running up looking for a friend to play with...

Trouble is, he ran into Daisy. Make no mistake, she's a right bitch at times.

Look at her. Standing over poor little Gus.

Daisy, you're mean. Leave him alone.
"But Dad, he needs to be taught a lesson. I'm the boss around these parts !"

Daisy's top knot.
I was waiting for my pizza to cook and I was playing with Daisy's top knot.
This bad haircut is the end result of being run over by a car.

The wounds have healed and the shaved head is growing back.
But it has left her with this wonderful top knot.

It's fun to play with. I twirl it round and round in my fingers.

Lovely Daisy... but you do look silly with that haircut.
"Don't be mean to me Dad."
Not mean, Daisy. I love you to bits.
