Walkies to Clockwork Cafe. Part three.

It's a lovely morning and we are off to Clockwork Cafe for brekky.

We've walked up the hill at a slow stroll and are ready for toast and coffee.
"And bacon too, for us of course..."
Yes you two, bacon for you.
Wait here while I order.

"Zzzzzz."
Monty ! Wake up ! Your breakfast is ready.

"Mmmm. Bacon for me ? Yum."

Daisy, do you want some bacon too?
"Let me sniff it first."

Daisy, you're too fussy. Just eat it !
"OK Dad, just for you. Bacon ! Yum !"

...and toast and coffee for me. Yum.

As usual, they dawdle along.

Time for bed for everybody.

"Dad, it's cold. Tuck is in please."

OK Daisy.
You stay on your bed and I will tuck Monty in on his bean bag.

Breakfast at Belljar

We've found a new cafe. We like new cafes.
This one is called Belljar, on 656 Smith St in Collingwood, near where it rolls around into Queens Parade.
Here's the menu of the day (photo courtesy Fitzroyalty site.)

There's the lovely little courtyard out the back.
I had to carry Monty and Daisy through the cafe - and they're not getting any lighter !

You two wait there while I check out the menu and order a coffee.

"OK Dad. Don't forget to order bacon for us."

Sorry kiddies, they only have a small open kitchen, and don't cook bacon here.

'*Sighs* It's a cruel world Dad. No bacon for poor starving doggies."
Poor Monty. Poor Daisy.
