A quiet sit

Hello Daisy. What are you up to ?
''Monty and I are playing in the long grass, Dad.''
Good. I'm just going to have a little sit down in the sun.

Lamb bones from Al Albero. Part three.

Joe from Al Albero pizza gave me some left over lamb bones for Monty and Daisy.

"Oy, Daisy, if you're going to bring those bones inside I will put down an old towel.

"No problem Dad, just keep the bones coming."

"Mmmmm yum yum yum."

"Mmmm, these are lovely."

Lucky dogs. Thanks again Joe.

Lamb bones from Al Albero. Part two.

Yesterday I scored some left over lamb bones from Joe at Al Albero pizza.
He's a good bloke, and he loaned me a container to take the bones home for Monty and Daisy.

I dropped in to return his container, but he insisted on filling it up again.
Lucky Monty. Lucky Daisy.

Look kiddies. More bones from Joe.

"Wow."
"Wow."

You take one, Daisy.
"Thanks Dad."

You have one too, Monty.
"Mmmm, don't mind if I do."

"Mmmm, I'm going to have another one."
"Mmmm, me too another bone too."

Go for it kiddies. There's plenty more. Just don't make a mess in the house.
Thanks again, Joe.
To be continued...just one more slice.

Lamb bones from Al Albero. Part one.

I dropped in at Al Albero for my pizza and pasta last night.
Joe makes all his own sauces and cooks up all his own meats.
He makes this divine, slow cooked lamb ragout sauce.

I spied all the left over bones up on top of the oven and asked if I could take some home for Monty and Daisy.

"Wow, Dad. What's this ?"
Lamb bones from Joe, just for you Daisy.
"Wow. Can I have one ?""

"Mmmmm, these are good Dad."
Jolly good Monty. I thought you might like them.

Thanks Joe.
To be continued... like all good adventures.

Helping Dad work. Part four.

We're all around at the new house, doing some odd jobs.
Monty and Daisy are keeping me company while I work on these old bricks.

Hello Daisy.
"Hello Dad. I'll just sit here and watch for now."

OK, Daisy. This will only take an hour or so.
"La, la, la. So, when do we eat ?"

Sigh, I'll go find you a snack, Daisy.
"Thanks Dad."

Helping Dad work. Part three.

We're all around at the new house doing some odd jobs.
I'm working on some old glass bricks today.

Hello Daisy.
"Hello Dad. Watcha doing ?"

Working on these old bricks.
"Oh."

"What are you doing now, Dad ?"
I have to repaint the edges before we install them.

See ?
"Oh."

You sit down and keep my company, Daisy.
To be continued... just a bit more.

Working on these bricks. Come and help.

Gosh, thank you Monty.
"No problemo, Dad. I'll sit here and watch."
