Ready now. Snack please.

Good morning everybody.
Hello Daisy.
"Hello Dad."

Hello Darcy.
"Good morning Sir Dad."

What? Why are you staring at me.
"Snacks, Dad. We're ready for snacks."
OK Daisy.

"Yes Sir Dad. Ready now. Now please. Hungry."
Yes well, you're always hungry, Mr Darcy. I'll find you a snack. Maybe pizza crust...

Pie Thief revisited. This time with panettone.

Mmmmm, we have panettone for breakfast over Christmas.

However, I have just come home to find THIS ! Panettone all over the floor and someone fleeing the scene of the crime.

Mr Darcy ! Pie Thief ! You come here right now ! See the Pie Thief post for that story.
"Um, yes Dad."

Did you steal my panettone ?
"What, me Dad ?! Whatever makes you think that ?"

Well, this mess all over the floor for starters, and you fleeing the scene of the crime, and you stink of panettone ! That's what.
"Um, maybe."
Maybe ?!

"But it smells so good, Dad."
Yes it does rather.
"And it tasted delicious too ! "

Yes, it is, er, was, a rather nice panettone. But that's a confession right there. Bad dog !
"Yes Dad. I promise to never do it again until next time."

Prickle on your face.

Come here, Daisy Mae, what's that on your face ?
"Nothing, Dad."

It's a prickle. Hold still while I pull it out.
"No Dad. You'll pull my whiskers."

Tough luck. I'm not having you walk around with a prickle in your whiskers.
"Ouch. Oohh. It hurts, Dad. Ow. Owowow. "

Poor chicken. Serve you right for rolling in nasty things.

Lovely roll in the grass. Edinburgh Gardens Fitzroy.

Ahhh, there's a cool breeze blowing on this hot day.
Let's take a stroll in the park, kiddies .

"It's glorious Dad. I'm gonna have a roll."

Knock yourself out Daisy.
"La la la."

"Scratch my tum ."
"Hum  hum hummm. "

"Let's all sing a lovely rolling song.
Join in in the chorus, Dad."

The chorus being? Maybe 'wash my bum? '. At least it rhymes, sort of...

Mr Darcy's toy box. Blue Ted.

We're still pulling all the toys out of Mr Darcy's toy box.

(I'll put them all away later, and he'll pull them all out, slowly, one by one. He'll show them to Daisy and try to make her play with him, then he'll dance around the house with each one in his mouth. It's very funny to watch.)

This one is Blue Ted.

We sleep with Blue Ted to keep the bad dreams away.
"That's right Dad. Blue Ted keeps me safe at night."

Blue Ted is definitely the favorite toy. Ick, he's due for a wash too.

"Maybe later Dad. I'd better have a play with him, now that he's out."
OK, well I'll get Mum top wash him later. Here you go.

"Thanks Dad. Come and play with me, Daisy. Let's go race around the living room."

Mr Darcy's toy box. The Rope.

Here's another toy from Mr Darcy's toy box.
This one is The Rope

"Rarrr. Pull harder Dad ! Rarrrrr ! "
I'm pulling, I'm pulling.

*shake shake shake*
At least you can't destroy this toy, Mr Darcy.
"Make a bet ?"

The Rope used to be the legs in Pink Flamingo, but they were ripped from its body in just a few short days.

Darcy will run around the house with The Rope in his mouth for hours on end.
Funny boy.

Mr Darcy's toy box. Pink Flamingo

We're looking in Mr Darcy's toy box again.
This poor thing is Pink Flamingo.

*snatch*
Darcy ! Give him back !

"Grrr. No chance. I'm still trying to pull that other wing off."
Mr Darcy has already pulled all the stuffing out of him three or four times, you see.

Poor thing. Hollow and empty and bereft of stuffing.
No legs either. Darcy has pulled the rope legs out altogether.

Shall we stuff him again, Mr D ?
"Sure Dad. That will keep me busy for half a day, pulling it all out again."
Hmm, maybe I won't bother then.
