Come on Daisy, we're off on an errand.
"Of course, Dad."
"Ready, Dad. I'm strapped in."
Good girl.
"Where are we off to, Dad ?"
A most important errand... to buy me some coffee.
"Oh, very good. I shall assist you, as always."
See ? Coffee !
"It smells good."
*yawn* "In fact I'm just about ready for a cuppa myself, Dad."
Is that so ?

Afternoon stroll - then racing home for supper
We're off for an evening stroll in the Darling Gardens.
This is always a bit tricky when it's close to Daisy's supper time.
"La la la. What a lovely evening."
*rumblerumble* "Hmmm, I'm hungry now. That was my belly. Are you ready for dinner Darcy ?"
"Always, race you to the car."
"Come on Dad. Hurry ! We're hungry now."
Not much choice then is there, Daisy-Mae ?

Poor Daisy-Mae. Injection today.
Poor little Daisy-Mae is growing old now. She has a monthly Synovan injection to keep her joints working.
"Dad. I don't want an injection, it hurts."
Be brave my little girl, and the nurse will give you a liver treat.
"Ah well, a liver treat eh ? OK then. "
Very brave.

Wash day today - you stink
You two stink and it's time for a wash. I think we might just head down to the PETstock in Clifton Hill and use their hydro-bath.
"Nooooo Dad. Let us out."
Um, no...
"Dad, let us out !"
No way, you both stink.
"Dad, we don't want a wash. We like being stinky."
Poor things, but you see... Dad doesn't love you when you're stinky, so in the tub you go !
Are you ready ?!
...and it's all over now. Nice clean doggies, at least for a short while. Dad loves you again now.

Helping Dad dig.
We're finishing off the landscaping at our house. Mick and I are digging out the dirt to put down some concrete and tiles.
Oh hello Mr Darcy.
"Hello Dad. I'm here to supervise."
Supervise ? Oh, very good.
"Yes Dad. You know you'd be lost without me."
Yes of course.
"Speaking of which, you missed a bit over there... and move that shovel a bit faster will you."
Yes sir.
