Afternoon snooze.

Hello Mr Darcy. Lovely boy.
"Time for my nap, Dad."

Haircut today.

Melbourne is starting to warm up for summer, so it's haircut day today for Winnie.
It's a long, hard job. Her hair is very thick and prickly but it's worth it in the end. Phew.

Does that feel better, Winnie ?
"Oh yes Dad. Lovely and cool. Is my fringe OK?"
Oh yes, Just gorgeous.

Busy helping dad.

Are you two going to help me around the house?
"Absolutely dad. We'll sit here and supervise!".
Oh, wonderful. Thank you.

Don't get up, will you. I have to vacuum the house.
"Oh no Dad. We'll watch you from here."

Waiting for toast...

We're up at Cavallini for breakfast this morning.

"Are you going to share that toast, Dad?"
Yes of course, Winnie, just wait a bit.

"Still waiting, Dad."
OK, I've got the hint.

Enjoying the sun

Goodbye kiddies, I'm of to work. You two just stay there and enjoy the sun.
"Goodbye Dad. Oh yes, we'll just sit here and enjoy the sun. No problem."

"Off you go Dad. We'll sit here and bark at everybody."

Pulling that tooth out.

Poor Winnie has had this busted tooth ever since we rescued her.
It's been painful to her, so I decided to have it pulled out and have all her teeth checked.

We head back the the North Melbourne Lost Dogs Home, were the lovely staff yank out her poor busted tooth and check all her other teeth.
She's been a lot happier ever since, and much more playful.

Thank you to all the lovely staff at the Frank Samways Lost Dogs Home Vet Clinic.

Sausage in a bun.

This is what I like about our local park. Creative people filling a need.
"Do you want a sausage mate?"
Yes please.
And I'll try to save a little for the kiddies.

The kiddies sniff around to see if anyone has dropped a sausage, but no luck.
