Walkies at The Beach part two.

Here we are down at St Kilda beach, continuing our adventures.
Monty is looking for stinky things to roll in.

Yup, there he goes. Rolling in something stinky.

Daisy too. Roll, roll, roll.

Monty is looking for something new to roll in.
Daisy looks quite happy there.

Ick. Now I will have two stinky dogs in my car.

Walkies at Port Melbourne Beach

We took a trip to Port Melbourne Beach.
Monty and Daisy ran around in the grass up on the dunes.
Mum and Dad sat on the sand, resting our feet.
There's Daisy, with the wind in her hair and sand on her face.

"Hello Dad. I like it up here. I can see everything."

Monty is aloof and stares off into the distance.

Lovely Monty.

Hello kiddies. Having fun ?
"Yes Dad."
"Yes Dad, there's a cool breeze up here."

Good kiddies.

Drying off after the rain part two.

We got caught in the rain on our walk.
Mum is drying us off. We love a rub with the towel.

"Thanks Mum. We feel better now."

Daisy has a roll in her bed to dry off some more.

"Hooray. Roll, roll, roll."

Monty jumps on his bed.
"Hooray. Roll, roll, roll. Rub, rub, rub."

Feel better now, you two ?
"Yes Mum."
"Yes thanks Mum."

Now the house smells of wet dogs. Ick.

Drying off after the rain.

We have just been for a walk, and got caught in the rain.
We love to come home and dry off.
Daisy first. Rub, rub, rub.

Then Monty. Rub, rub, rub.

"Thanks Mum. Me now."
Ok, Daisy's turn now.

Is that better Monty ?
"Yes Mum. More please."

Ok, more for Monty. Rub, rub, rub.

Better now ?

Monty and Daisy and the Big Storm part three.

This is the last episode of Monty and Daisy getting caught in a big storm.
We are sheltering under the cricket shed, along with every other dog.

Look at that poor little thing down the end.

We are all scared of the storm.

Poor little thing.
But the big Rottweiler loves it, splashing in the rain.

What do you think Daisy, shall we rush home and dry off ?
"Yes, let's go Dad."

Quick. Run. I've never seen Daisy move so fast.

Poor Monty.
"Dad, I'm all wet. Can you carry me ?"
No way, you big lump. Start running boyo.

"Groan. Grumble. All wet. Cold. Hungry. Groan. Grumble..."

Hurry up Monty. Stop complaining.

Monty and Daisy and the Big Storm part two.

We got caught in a big storm down at The Park.
We have just run for shelter.

Here we are with everybody else, under the cricket shed.
"Hi there, Monty"
"Gidday lads. It's a bit wet out there."

Poor wet Monty.

Monty checks out the scene and looks for his mates.

More thunder and lightening. Crash. Boom.

Who's that poor little thing down the end ?

Monty and Daisy and the Big Storm.

We went for a walk to The Park on a rainy day.
There were only one or two drops of rain, so we set out.

"Dad, I'm getting wet."

Let's shelter under this big Elm tree, you two.
"Dad, this is going to ruin my hair."

Crash. Boom. Thunder and Lightening.
"Dad, we're scared. We don't like thunder."

Wow, look at that rain.

Poor Monty is really wet now.

Let's run for cover, you two. Over there...
