Special Guest. Gemma at Train Trak Winery.

Greetings once again. It was my wife's and my birthday the other day.
We met up with some friends and headed out to Train Trak Winery near Yarra Glen.
They have a sensational restaurant there called Zonzo. Check the links and see what I mean !

We were met by little Gemma who lives there.

Gidday Gemma. Nice view ?
"Lovely thanks."

"And the sun is warm. It's a fine day."

Righto then. Well, we're off for a snack.
There's our mate Chris, ripping into the antipasto and vino.

How about a little close up of that antipasto.

Little Gemma wandered over for some prosciutto and meatballs.
She's under that table when I took this picture.
That's all for now. We had a wonderful birthday. Thanks again to Chris too.

Daisy schmoozing.

I had a late shift and a sleep in.
Monty and Daisy came trotting up the stairs to wake me up.
"Hello Dad. Can I sleep on the bed for a little while?"

Good morning Daisy-Mae. Yes of course you can.

"Sigh. I'm happy now, I'm with my Dad."

Yes well, don't give me that look. It's only because you've been washed recently.
"Sigh. Time for a snooze."

Comfy there, you big schmoozer ?
"Yes Dad. Kiss my nose."

Ack. Somehow, I don't think so. Go to sleep and let me sleep a bit more.

Monty out for a walk with his sore foot. Part 8

The tale of Monty's walk with his sore foot continues, and is almost over.
We wander home, shuffling through the leaves.

That bag must be dragging a lot and annoying him, but he doesn't seem to mind.

You alright Monty? You look tired now.
"Yeah, I'm a bit tired Dad. But I'm OK."
He's such a brave boy.

Strolling home. Almost there.

"I might just stop for a quick rest."

Monty out for a walk with his sore foot. Part 7

The tale continues.
We are out for a walk with poor old Monty after The Vet cut a grass seed out of his foot.
We are in The Edinburgh Gardens in Fitzroy, up in The Grandstand, and we have stopped for a scratch.

Hello Monty. How are you feeling.
"OK Dad, but I need some attention."
Ok. Scratch, scratch, scratch.

Show me you eye Monty. The Vet cut a lump off his eye.
Hmm, it looks good. I can hardly tell.

There's Melbourne city over the top of Monty's head.

"Me too Dad. I need some attention too."
OK Daisy, come here.

Monty out for a walk with his sore foot. Part 6

We are still going on the tale of Monty with his sore foot.
We are out for a walk in The Edinburgh Gardens in Fitzroy and are now up in The Grandstand.
Hello Daisy. Having fun ?
"Yes Dad. I like it up here. It's exciting."

"Come on Daisy. Over here."
"Coming Monty."

Then Monty goes half way down the stairs...

Then comes back up again...

Then goes off to check out something with Daisy.

Monty out for a walk with his sore foot. Part 5

This could be a long tale. We continue...
I am taking Monty for a walk after surgery on his foot.
He can't be feeling too bad, he had a brief run.
It can't be doing his stitches any good.

Slow down Monty. Take it easy.
"OK Dad. Sorry."

We reach The Grandstand and go up for a look.
No problem on the stairs. Good.

There's lot of interesting things to sniff up here.
