New bed from Ikea in Richmond

We've just been to Ikea in Richmond to buy a new computer table... and a lambs wool bed for Daisy.

What do you think, Daisy ?
"For me, Dad ? Wow. It's very nice."

"Mmmm, it feels so nice under my toes."

You have a little nap then, Daisy. Darcy and I have to put this table together.

Ready Mr Darcy ?
"Yes, ready Dad. I'll supervise."

Very good. Now where does this piece go ...
"Over there, Dad. It's a good thing I'm here to watch over you."

Under the table... waiting...

We're at my parent's house to to help my Dad with his computer and to have dinner with the family.

"Pssst, Dad ! Down here."
Hello you two.

"Dad, what are you eating up there ? It smells so good!"
Mmmm, it's Kashmiri Lamb. My mum makes it and it's very nice. Would you like a taste ? Here yo go...

"Psst, Dad. Down here. Can we have some more please ?"
Yes of course you can, as long as my mother doesn't catch me.

Rustica Sourdough Cafe for my morning coffee

I'm on afternoon shift again, so I grab the kiddies and have them take me out for a coffee. It's always a good excuse.

We've stopped at Rustica Sourdough Cafe on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy.
You two wait there while I order.

They're such good kiddies. I'll order the roast chicken and salad sandwich and they can have most of my roast chicken.

"We heard that Dad. We get all your chicken."
Some... I said some, not all.

A quick coffee at Ici Cafe before work

OK, time for a coffee at Ici Cafe.

"Come on Dad, hurry up."
Yes Mr D.

We're almost there. I hope there's a seat for us outside.

"Hello you. Everyone is out this morning."

There's a seat for us. Quick.

What do you two want for breakfast ?
"Toast for me, Dad."
Yes Mr D.
"Bacon for me please Dad, and certainly nothing vegan !"
Sure thing Daisy.

Toast for Mr Darcy.

And another piece...

Daisy, some toast for you ?
"Hummm, maybe..."

Fussy girl, don't just sniff it !
"Ummm, but I didn't ask for toast, Dad."

Right then, I'll give it to Darcy.... here....
"Gosh thanks Dad."

A brief walk to Smith Reserve, then maybe a coffee...

Come on kiddies, I'm on afternoon shift, so we have time for a walk across the road.

"It's lovely out today, Dad."
Sure is Daisy.

I think I'll just sit and take the air.

Darcy has found a friend.
"Dad, we're chasing the ball. It's very exciting."

*sniff sniff pee pee*

"Scratch me please."

"Phew, I'm exhausted now Dad."

Good. Come on you two, I need a coffee.
